12 large Medjool dates, pitted
3 tbsp peanut butter
70 g dark chocolate
1 tbsp coconut oil
A pinch of sea salt
How to Make the date bark
Remove the pits from 12 large Medjool dates and arrange them on a piece of parchment paper. Press them down and flatten them into a rectangle using a rolling pin until they stick together and form a compact base.
Spread a generous amount of peanut butter over the date layer.
Melt your dark chocolate with the coconut oil until silky, then pour it generously over your peanut butter layer.
Sprinkle with a pinch of flaky sea salt. Trust us on this.
Pop your tray in the freezer for at least an hour until set.
Slice or snap into bark pieces, and store in the fridge or freezer.
